Our Building

On July 13, 2021, the Bentonville City Council approved the construction agreement with CR Crawford for our new building! For more information about the agreement, you can view the City Council agenda.

The Bentonville Animal Services & Adoption Center is located at the corner of SW I Street and SW 41st Street, across from the Bentonville Community Center.

In addition to housing dogs and cats, the facility is a one-stop shop for all things pet-related. Citizens are able to adopt a new family member, microchip their pet, get more information on responsible pet ownership, and volunteer their time.

What We Do

Bentonville's Animal Services takes pride in enforcing, promoting, and protecting public safety. We also enforce and promote responsible pet ownership, safe human-animal interactions, and other related duties that apply. Chapter 6, Animals, of the Bentonville Code of Ordinances can be found here.

If your pet wears a current license or I.D. tag or has a microchip, we will make every effort possible to notify you and reunite you with your lost pet. If your pet was not wearing a tag, it's very possible that they could have been taken to our shelter.

All dogs recovered within the city limits of Bentonville are received and housed at our new facility. Our address is 801 SW 41st Street. â€‹â€‹

Any pet that is not reclaimed by their owner will be available for foster or adoption. Check our Adoptable Pets page for our most updated list of available pets.
